I’m thinking that (a) reformatting the USB, then (b) downloading the EncryptStick upgrade then © launching the program and starting fresh would have the program create the necessary folders/files to begin anew. Starting with a clean USB seems like the best use of my time.

The program is easy to use and allows users create a password protected (encrypted) vault to store crucial files.

Question #2 is then the more important one: How do I get rid of the unaccessable file/data/vault and clear the USB to start fresh, knowing that I’m UPGRADING. The SanDisk SecureAccess is a free software designed to help users protect their important file(s) stored on SanDisk USB drives. The good thing is that for a few bucks I can upgrade and get the automatic backup, even to the cloud! adventure capitalist lemonade stand bugwall-e pinballcod aw all royalty gunsamd radeon 7750 driveravh-4100nex firmwaremoto z play antutugoogle play on nabi 2sonix driver. I’m 94% certain that the data was a backup of my external thankfully. Is this an updating to 2.5.4.19W issue? IF you think the data IS unaccessable, so be it…I’m willing to UPGRADE to get the automatic backup etc…just kindly say so so I stop spending good time after bad. I read the posts…change name of the idx/idx.bak files…I’ve tried another laptop, no malware…Chkdsk fine, etc, etc.įurthermore, I cannot seem to do anything…all menus are greyed out… AND the “Vault.idx” continually gets overridden to “USB Flash Drive-4C530000220412100263.idx” EVEN though I changed the idx.bak file to “” also (searched for *idx.*) by downloading, using or installing the software, you agree to all of the terms of this agreement.

I was moving a few files around in the Vault and then it started “coping” something and froze, so I hit “Cancel” and boom, SanDisk crashed and I’m unable to get into my Vault…I can see that there IS data. sandisk product end user license agreement do not download, install or use the software until you have carefully read the terms of this end user license agreement ('agreement').

STEP 1: Login to SecureAccess v3 and select the Go. NOTE: This feature is NOT available in SecureAccess 2.0 and also, will NOT recover files that have been deleted in the Vault folder. I’m sure it was still showing v2.0 but I was upgrading to 2.5.4.19W. The Vault Repair feature in SecureAccess V3.0 will rebuild the Vault index file which can correct some problems with files not showing properly in the Vault. Right from the get-go the 'secure access vault' would not launch, I didnt even get the chance to set it up or choose a password.

(A 64gb sandisk usb flash drive) I bought it a few days ago ,but its not a new model ,its the same kind ive always bought. I upgraded the software when asked and happily continued on. Problem with the 'secure access vault' on a new sandisk flash drive I recently bought. Same thing with me? I have not used the USB Vault for a while and just logged into it today.
