This will work since wtf saves char and stuff like that aswell. Classic AddonsĬopy that said folder and name it your alts names. Head into your WTF folder, delete all folders or save idc except your main character or whichever you have he layout you want to use on every other character. You will indeed need to set up chat for each character separately, it's not saved in the profile. I have to go in to data texts and change so it shows the relevant stats under the chat manually on each char but that's just to be expected if I take a caster profile to a melee showing spellpower instead of attack power and such First 2 steps being the CVars and Chat. Doing the first 2 steps will set up the chats and stuff like that and that's all you'll need before copying. After that I copy over from my main profile.

It's simple really, what I do is when I first login to the new character I do the first 2 steps after the skip option of the elvUI install, then I just close the install window. There's an option in the "profiles" section, look for it.
